My name is Michael, I am in the United States Army. I joined DA while serving a 15 month tour in Iraq. While in Iraq I started taking random pictures and then realized that photography was a perfect hobby for me. After that I thought I should upgrade from a point and shoot to a real camera, if I wanted to continue in the photography field. I looked online and did a lot of research and chose to buy a Nikon D40X with a 200mm AF lens. It was the perfect camera for me to buy (because im new at this and its the perfect starter camera). Now im back in the US and plan to open my eyes up to a new and intresting perspectives on art and photography. Thank you DA.
